We helped save this tree!

A small house with this large beautiful oak tree went up for sale and a rumor spread that a developer meant to break the restrictions of the neighborhood and build townhouses on the property. Building townhouses meant that this huge, old tree would be cut down. The neighborhood felt strongly about this issue and an informal group formed to save the tree holding many protests and garnering some public attention. Happily, the final result was that a thoughtful developer, with some investors, came along and built a lovely new house AND saved the tree.
